Returning back all states and cities around the world reopening and slowing & stopping the spread of COVID-19, returning students back to in person school learning and face to face learning. Larger group of students going back to school on February 1st 2021. Montgomery County Government reopening is on January 15 2021.

Changing history to suit today’ “woke” people is infuriating and wrong! The statues of Columbus are a tribute to Americans of Italian heritage, no more and no less. The treatment of out Italian ancestors in America earned that tribute.

Columbus was not involved with slave trade. We of Italian ancestry admire Columbus for his achievements against all odds and portray him as a role model of our ethnicity as the world’s greatest navigator.

Our country needs to hear the complete story about Columbus which is covered in many books. There are those working to destroy our history for unknown reasons. Let us keep the statue and celebrate Italian Americans all over the USA.
