The owner of the land between Heuweloord and The Reeds is planning to erect what is termed as "A High Density Residential Development". They want to rezone 41 Redleaf Ave from residential to special for private road , access control, refuse yard and landscaping.

This will mean more congestion on our roads, even more foot traffic, and probably a higher crime rate than usual. It is already difficult to get in and out of the only 2 entrances we have, made all the more problematic by the school and the other high density development at the top of Heuweloord. 

We ask for your help in this regard. Every signature counts! This petition will be shared as part of the written objection to the proposed rezoning that will be handed over to the Council before the closing date of 16 February. We can't stop the development - but they don't have to use our back yard as their entrance. This is an enormous development company - they have more money, more resources and a bigger legal team than us - but we have to try.

Not only 41 Redleaf will be affected by this - the whole of Heuweloord will suffer and the little piece on the side will suffer the most.
