These animals need respect, compassion and understanding, human beings have already let them down and broken their trust. We need to be more responsible as human beings, pet owners and respect animals as sentient, loyal beings, not a throw away commodity! # All Lives Matter!!!!!

I have adopted dogs from the humane society over the years and each experience was amazing. I adopted one dog from when the city was taking care of strays and it was really sad. The dogs were in a very sad environment.

There is no way the care of the animals will come first with a for-profit agency! Please stop this!

Paul Gemme I did send a comment to the mayor George Pirie no reply back my understanding is the city palmateer has introduce this past practice when the city once had the opportunity to put down the animals but the TDH humane society suddenly was not giving enough tickets to the public or putting down animals.

James Lefevre was the one that really wanted these changes as they hired 3 employees from the city giving out all sort of tickets. My understanding is they gave over 700,000 in tickets in income of all aspects to the city rules. Yes we understand we have to pay the 3 employees wages to off set the cost.

As many of you may not no this but James Lefevre is no longer a city bylaw officials management. He knows is working for the Mattagami Region Conservation Authority MRCA. But we can see his attempts to increase income regardless how the city proceed is not the solution by ticketing working citizen that already paying high city taxes.

We have a bear problem in the Timmins area in the summer months. The safety of the public and children and seniors should be more of a priority but the city don’t see this as an income profits it’s strange that the city don’t call upon for the non profit TDH humane society to take over as it was convenient to the city at this time until they take it away from a non profit organization and sees it as a potential profit.

In 15 years suddenly there is a problem of the city new management them May of never own any sort of animals in there entire life spam but service dog etc was always helping the working people and old age homes for stress release. I hope the city personnel is no offend of my comment. I just call it as I see it.

Animals deserve the best care and I do not believe they will get it with a profit organization. Keep things the way they are currently

I have adopted from the humane society and feel they offer a very valuable service. If not for them my Burton would have been euthanized , cannot imagine my home without him!
