Erin Fairs Scherer started this petition to City of Sydney and

Stop the city of Sydney council destroying heritage listed buildings and ruining local communities for big companies.

The church of science has been destroyed and turned into a 200 seat office block for the Paul Ramsay foundation with over 20 DA’s into local council to amend and erode the heritage nature of this rare and beautiful building first established in the 1920s.

Despite repeated objections by local community  members about the destruction of this sacred heritage building they are now asking for a liquor license.

This building has robbed us of our privacy, our sanity and of what can never be rebuilt heritage so a modern office block can exist with an external lift shaft reminiscent of a incinerator where no trees will line the perimeter to perhaps negate the environmental  damage that has already taken place.

As this cannot be undone a petition is sought by the local community to plant trees around the building to give back what they have taken from the environment and historic site.
Over 200 people will cram them selves into this building with space for only 9 cars and the local SCEGGS school down the road the environment is not equipt for this kind of onslaught and planting trees or screening could bring something to what is now most of the communities worst nightmare.
