Perth Indoor Skatepark

Hi, my name is Dylan Van-Padua and I am starting a petition to present to the City of Stirling in an attempt to open an indoor skate park in Perth. This plan is well overdue as it is important for the youth of Perth to have somewhere SAFE and enclosed, where all athletes can come to train and improve their skills in a well designed indoor skating facility. This facility will be maintained by the City Of Stirling, however, I will personally be involved in its construction, ramp specification, and all legal matters to ensure that the residents of Perth have somewhere which boasts a safe environment whilst still offering a high standard facility. Myself & the Perth community have wanted a facility like this for over 6 years and we hope to have a great deal of interest from sponsors & local residents prior to the launch of this facility,
There will be waivers in play before anyone is allowed to ride this Skate park and also insurance set up before any plans are actioned. I also intend to recruit support from local residents to help ensure the success of this endeavour. There are a lot of other indoor skate parks within Australia, most of which have been succeeding since 2005. The current plan is to develop the skate park in an area such as Osborne Park, as it is close to public transport and easy access for people from the north and south of Perth.
There is a very good reason for this skate park to built as shown in the first 1:20 of this video below.
