We experiencing a recent increase in local crime in the Doubleview and Stirling area in recent months. More and more house and vehicles break-ins and theft have been reported and we dont believe that there are enough law and enforcement resources in the area combat this.
The Scarborough and Doubleview community had been discussing this issue for quite some time and recently conducted a poll online to gain consensus on requesting the support of the authorities to address this issue.
We would like to request increased police and local security presence in the Scarborough & Doubleview area to combat this increase in crime so we can keep our community safe.
We would like to petition as a community to request assistance from our council officials, to address this issue so we can find an effective solution.
