All cites, including Seattle need their own unique landmarks to keep them from becoming dull cookie cutter images of one another. Historic land marks help keep culture and life from becoming socially and aesthetically stale.

Amazing venue with a great history of artists who have performed on it’s stage for decades.
Remember when Pike Market was this close to being destroyed but was saved? Downtown Seattle wouldn’t be the same w/o the market. The same principle applies to the Showbox.
