The speeding on Parker Hill Road over the past year has become a regular and daily occurrence. Most of the speeding is coming from multiple factors such as, Hidden Valley School parents, Keysite employees, construction employees and using Parker Hill Road as a shortcut to avoid Fountaingrove Parkway.  There have been multiple close calls with pedestrians and bicyclists along with multiple fatalities with animals i.e. 3 fawns, bucks, doe’s and cats.

For the past year, home owners have been talking to both police and traffic engineers about the issues residents are dealing with on Parker Hill Rd. Police have been out about a dozen times, which we are aware that they have a shortage of traffic police available but this is not the solution. The City Engineer has been asked for Stop Signs, Spoen Bumps, Speed Humps and Speed Monitoring trailers. Nothing has been done to help the residents of Parker Hill Road and adjoining neighborhoods.

This situation is affecting property values and the desire to live in our neighborhood. If something doesn’t get done, someone is going to get hurt or killed. Please help us come up with a solution for this daily occurrence and regain control in our neighborhood.
