In light of the devastating fires in Santa Rosa and Sonoma County, California last week that claimed more than 1500 homes and businesses, and that created 20,000 evacuees, the City of Santa Rosa and the County of Sonoma should fast track any and all housing projects for low income residents and HUD voucher holders in order to relieve the minuscule housing vacancy rate that has plagued the North Bay for over 20 years.
