The Robert E. Lee Monument in Richmond, VA has recently just been approved to be taken down. This petition is to get the city of Richmond, Governor of Virginia, and Virginia Supreme Court to leave the pedestal with all of the community art and make the surrounding space a community garden. The goal is to not erase the remanences of the transformation that occurred at this space from a result of protest, community engagement, and togetherness.
