Build a safe walking path on Medina Rd and County Rd 24

The residents of Plymouth would like to petition the Plymouth City Counsel to request that the City install sidewalks on:
-Medina Rd from the Medina/Plymouth boundary to the intersection of Medina Rd and County Rd 101
-County Rd 24 from the Medina/Plymouth boundary to the intersection of County Rd 24 and County Rd 101
We believe that the walking paths are essential for the residents of Plymouth and our development in particular. Children and adults will utilize the sidewalks to walk and bicycle without fear of the traffic on these fairly busy roads. Currently pedestrians must walk on uneven stretches of grass or on the road itself. Taking children outside the development for a walk or bicycle ride is out of the question.
Since CVS pharmacy, HealthPartners clinic, Cub Foods, Greenwood Elementary, and Goddard School are all within walking distances of a number of neighborhoods on the west side of the city it would encourage residents to walk rather than drive to these businesses.
