Closing the Parksville Community Centre will impact the whole community. The centre offers meeting spaces for large and small organizations as well as focusing on recreational, social, and cultural activities for all residents. Participants of all ages learn new skills and make new friends through fitness, arts, crafts, and cultural activities, dances, concerts, movies, fairs, festivals, and more. 

Our community centre was dreamed about and planned over many years by dedicated community-minded people who understood the importance of a social and cultural hub to sustain the life of our small city. Countless individuals, service clubs, community organizations, and business leaders donated their time and hard work to raise money, secure grants, and find the best location in the heart of our city for a place for the people of Parksville to gather for so many important occasions and activities.
