Ride a skatepark without elbow pads and knee pads

The point of riding a skatepark is to learn new tricks and ride at your own risk. Palm Desert Skatepark Requires Helmet, Elbow and knee pads. The majority of riders range from 12 to 18 years old. Elbow and Knee pads should be recommended not required. You ride at your own limits, If your doing somthing really tough and you feel you need knee pads then sure, put them on. But if your just cruising doing your own thing then you should be able to ride freely, even if your trying new tricks it is very difficult with pads restricting the movement of your arms and knees. We’re not asking to remove all pads. Helmets come first weather it’s a skateboard, scooter, or bike but elbow pads and knee pads are not going stop you from a concussion, they only stop our progression. Thank you for understanding.
