City of Omaha: Stop proposed demolition of 123 year old house in Historic Orchard Hill Neighborhood
Jul 9, 2013 — from Andrea Diehl, Omaha
We should only tear down what is unusable..this is a beautiful home in a beautiful part of town. We need to spend tax dollars on removing buildings that are a danger due to their condition, or are becoming a criminal problem for a neighborhood
from Gary Rosenberg, Omaha
I am in favor of preserving any historic house in the region. This neighborhood does not need a vacant lot.
from Paige Reitz, Omaha
The character of our city lives in these old homes. When a home like this finds owners who are willing to put in the sweat to get them updated, the city should be grateful and offer incentives rather than challenge the homeowners and threaten demolition.
