Jul 29, 2013 — Hello friends and family,
Thank you to everyone who has signed, taken the time to comment and passed on our petition to help us save this wonderful old house. We have been amazed and inspired by the response and humbled by your offers of “how can we help?”.
When we started this petition we knew in our hearts it was bigger than just our beloved house and hoped to make aware the plight of so many of these wonderful old houses/buildings on the city’s demolition list. With that in mind we agreed from the start that we would do everything we could to save this house and if we couldn’t, then damn it we would make it the poster child, so to speak, for change in the way the city addresses code violations and condemned structures. Judging by the response we’ve gotten we are not the only ones who feel like this.
