A Dying Breed in Oldsmar
This petition had 1,127 supporters
Horsepower for kids, our local animal sanctuary, has tried desperately for years to keep their Horse Hoof Prints in our community. They have offered Horseback riding for decades to anyone who will benefit but now they face the biggest challenge, and they need our help! Due to the No Horse Ordinance in the City of Oldsmar, they can no longer offer horseback riding. Being that they are a small non-profit with limited funding it has proved very difficult to utilize other offered options of outsourcing trail rides. Their love for sharing horses with our community is undeniable. Please, if you think Horsepower for Kids should be able to use the public trails in Oldsmar’s Mobbly Bayou Preserve again to share their sweet horses with our community, take a second to sign our petition. It would mean everything to the special needs children who experience a lot of joy from these animals. Let's come together as the community of Oldsmar & Pinellas County and support them when they need us... because they are there for You. They are saddened by this inability to share their horses with you. Oldsmar/Pinellas County Residents, your voice Matters! If you love helping animals and children and sharing in enriching your community, together We can make a difference. If you agree that this cause should be granted immunity from the no horse ordinance, Sign today and make a positive impact for your community- together let's show the City of Oldsmar that we Love Horsepower for Kids and all they do for our community! Here in Oldsmar, let's embrace our community and help eachother rise up against all odds. Together, we Can make a difference.
