I've been wanting to start a community center for a while especially for people of color. I want to create a third space where people feel  comfortable talking about current events. I want to create a space that feels like home to them, where we can all work together to raise money for our local person, work on a community house that needs fixing, create community gardens, and share all of our cultures. I would like to have planned events where cultural traditions can be expressed such as the Dia de los Muertos, Hanukkah, Sinulog Festival, and many other celebrations. I want this community to come together to fight social injustices to have their voices heard and to finally feel like a family not by blood but by community. Whether you're a local or your a tourist or someone that has never even heard of North Myrtle Beach I would love to have your support so that way everyone can finally get a chance to express themselves without fear.
