Safer Road Crossing - Princes Rd Between Mitcham Shopping Ctr and Goodlife Gym

0 have signed. Let’s get to 100!

We are trying to create a safer crossing for People who use the exit/entry to and from Mitcham Shopping Ctr placed on the north western side of the center which is placed on Princes Rd Kingswood SA.

Currently there is a walkway, cars can travel at normal speed of 50 km/hr, no give-way or stop signs for pedestrians, All age groups use this crossing daily up-to 300-400 people, not including the risk for the blind or deaf. People from local schools such as Mitcham Primary, Unley High School to name a few use this crossing daily.

We are trying to invite the local council to make changes to reduce the risk at this crossing by the way of changing the current format to even change the speed limit , change signage for traffic to give way to pedestrians.
