Cycle/foot path down Mulga Drive, Parklands

A duel use cycle/foot path linking Gordon road footpath to Marlee Reserve would greatly improve safe access to pedestrians and cyclists and improve safety for motorists by reducing numbers of cyclists using the road.
Environmental impact would be minimal as the proposed footpath would be following the high voltage power lines which are already cleared under.
Currently it is not suitable for families to cycle on because of the high speed limit and poor visibility over the crests. Also large groups of cyclists use this road on the weekends and it is only a matter of time before an accident happens here.
The solution is a dual use cycle path similar to the one along Stock Road. Council please commit to this in the 2018/2019 budget.
