Hello,

I’d like to express the sadness and disappointment that I feel everyday when I walk by the alley on 28th street and Bronson Avenue in the city of Los Angeles.  I witness drug deals, homeless encampments, drug abuse, gang members tagging up the walls, illegal dumpings, and the homeless using the alley way as a restroom.

A few years ago, the owner of the “The Livingroom Bar” (a neighborhood dive bar) was murdered in this same alley. He was shot and killed in plain day light.

These activities all strike fear in the community. I personally don’t feel safe. I am afraid for everyone living in my neighborhood.

Today, I humbly ask that you sign this petition, so that the city of Los Angeles can close this alley way. Adding gates and locks could help prevent these activities from happening.

I have a child and I don’t want him growing up witnessing this. It’s time to make a change!

On behalf of my family and community, I thank you!
