I see no downside to this! Why can't the city ammend the code to allow this? Leawood has a reputation for being snobby. I personally don't know if this is true. Just let the little boy do this and maybe he will inspire others, perhaps your child.

Children should be encouraged to help others. I do not completely blame the government. Rules are put in place for a purpose. The problem is that these small ones don't usually come up until someone complains. (2 neighbors) in that case, something has to be done. Perhaps the neighbors need to be asked why they think all this is a problem.

Literacy is important. What this child has done is a good thing and is harming no one. Government at it's worst.

In a country that advocates children to follow their passions and dreams, its a clear sign of hypocrisy for an seemingly harmless effort. I understand laws are meant to be "equal" and "constitutional", but its these stuck up enforcers that cause the next generation to become spiteful towards America for shutting them down. God dammit America, get that stick from the last 3 decades out your ass

Reading Is An Educational Past Time That Few Children Do Especially When They Are Made Fun Of For It. To Take Away This Gift From A Mere Boy Is A TerriblY Cruel And Illogical action

It's admirable that children still love books in the world of technology. If the government wants to fix our current economic problem, they should support the education and joy of learning rather than fear the idea of money itself.
