Improvements Have Been Made...But Still Work To Be Done
Aug 12, 2013 — It is also dually noted that things have improved at the pound since the new ACO has been in charge. She has so far done a wonderful job getting things back into the shape. Since it was never my intention from the start to place blame on one person in particular, I do hope as a group of elected officials you give ME the opportunity to speak & actually listen to what I have to say. Personal differences aside, I have no vendetta & no axe to grind with the city as it has been so distastefully described. This is for the best interest of the animals & how they are cared for & handled..permanently!! Not until she is replaced as has happened in the past. A signed waiver that would free the city of any liability surely can be drafted so that volunteers can go to the pound without hassle & help out. What difference does it matter if you're with this group or that group?? That's childish and petty!! If someone wants to help save an animal's life, they should be allowed without being judged!!!
