Trying to get the park lights turn on or getting them fixed up. We are now in daylight savings and some of us work. By the time we are out there’s nothing for us to do cause all skate parks have their lights off. Yes we understand the process of COVID-19 but Laredo gave us the time and permission for us to skate. We the undersigned members of the Laredo skate community, among other residents, respectfully demand the comeback of our skate park city lights. Due to the lack of lighting, we feel that it’s unsafe for everyone who is trying to enjoy their daily active activities. As for some of us, we try to find other alternatives, such as skating local businesses in which is not welcomed.
