Kruseway Commons Apartments are attempting to get approval for a 3 story apartment building along Parkview Dr.  This building style is out of character for the "village" neighborhood of Westlake.  All other structures at Kruseway Commons Apartments are only 2 stories high.   In order to build this structure, 15 trees and a park will be removed.

Reasons against the build:

- privacy issues for homes directly across from the apartment building, and decreased property values

- increased traffic on Parkview Dr

- increased student population at LOSD bus stops that are already overcrowded and lack school bus drivers

- against LO initiatives of saving natural areas and parks

- against LO initiatives for multi-family housing
