It is important for all parks to provide safety for the children in the play areas. This can be accomplished by installing a gate around the play area, which will keep strangers from entering the area. This will allow parents to be aware of adult strangers entering the play area alone without children. Parents will remain on the alert and monitor the area closely while the strange adults are present. The security gate will also decrease fear of kidnappings, abuse of children, and children wandering off without the knowledge of their parent. This will also increase parents to use the park more frequently with their children with this new built in safety mechanism. Parks will become a safer place for children and parents to enjoy.
