Without the knowledge of residents living in Kent, King County Officials purchased the Econo Lodge located near Highway 167 in Kent, WA as a site to quarantine coronavirus patients. This poses a great health risk to Kent residents as the motel is located in a high traffick area. This is a petition to get King County officials to reconsider moving the quarantine site to a safer, less populous location in order to prevent further outbreak. In addition, anytime a decision is made by city or county officials that can pose a health risk to the public should at least have public input.
