A more accurate history of many sites across Australia need to be shown to reflect the slavery and loss of lives of Indigenous Australian people. Why do we continue to put these people up on a pedastal??

Bin the plaque and replace it with something that helps tell truth about WA history. We have an Aboriginal Land and Sea Council for a reason...We have Elders for a reason. Seek their advice. Fulfill their needs.

From the plaque ' to encourage the Aboriginal people to learn agricultural skills'. That's colonially backwards, we still have plenty to learn ourselves

Its disgusting that genocide gets celebtrated and displayed as an achievement when its brutal and cruel, all statues, plaques and anything else that promotes colonialism should be abolished, Fuck Captain Cook and the white history books!!!
