Hello My name is Jacklyn Wright. I have a 5 year old daughter that has Autism and we are located in Jacksonville Fl.
In the past 3 months, 2 children that has AUTISM AND NONE VERBAL have drowned in retention ponds, that didn’t have any locked gates nor fences around them.
There is a rentention pond less than 25 feet from my home,there is a fence ,but there is no lock on it so essentially the fence provides no security from the pond.
I’m starting this petition to get fence and/or locked gates around all retention ponds for the safety of not just kids with Autism but ALL KIDS.
1 signature at a time can change a child’s life and keep a family from sorrow and grief!
So please stand with me on making a change for all of the children that has Autism in our Community , that has no voice, that we be their voice!
