Currently Ingleside does not allow other cable and internet providers to do business here, the only company ( monopoly ) allowed here for several years is Sparklite , previously known as CableOne. We want to break up that monopoly or hold that the current cable company has on Ingleside , We need different internet and cable companies so we the residents have more options to choose from. Right now the prices for internet and cable are sky high. We need alternatives . More competition so that prices hopefully will subside and stop hurting the citizens who most are struggling financially month to month especially during the times we’re in. Internet is a crucial part of our day to day activities, from school, work, medical especially those older or disabled residents who cannot drive to their doctors office zoom is the way to go. WE DEMAND MORE OPTIONS , It’s time to end this hold Sparklite has on Ingleside
