My name is Amie Dykowski. Thank you for your time. In 1982 I moved to Hutto. I was a newcomer. The population was 659. We did not have any traffic lights, we had one police officer who work part-time. We all knew his schedule. The only places for dining were Snuffy's or Wag-A-Bag. We were all so excited when Hippo Haven, the new hamburger place, opened. Unfortunately there was not enough business to keep it going. As the years passed newcomers discovered our sleepy little town. Changes started to happen. Some of us embraced it,some of us feared it sneakers. All of us were concerned with our quality of life. There were mistakes made and lessons learned. I feel like now especially with the use of social media we can all communicate and find common ground. As our sleepy little town grows I hope that we can keep the small-town feel with the benefits a thriving future. We all want good Emergency Services, parks, infastructure ,and schools. Prosperous larger businesses are much needed for this growth, together with small business. We can meet all our community needs as our city has pledged millions of dollars for future businesses this will bring jobs everyone needs to have a place to dine.JJ's embodied our community. Excellent customer service, great product and a real value for our hard-earned dollars. All with a smile. Even if you do not love JJ's (you will) love the integrity that his business brings and the endless possible options for future growth. I am asking you to please sign the petition. This is our community. Our principles matter. James Larson was making every attempt to rectify the electrical plug issue that was in reality, completed by a licensed electrician. Please stand for OUR Community and Our Neighbor. Together we can build a bright.
