Why this petition matters

Started by Laura Cantrell

Dear Friends and Family, my name is Laura Cantrell, and my husband is Matt Cantrell. We are the proud owners of Cantrell's Hiram Station. Over the years, I am happy to say that we have made many great friends. Right now we need your help! The City of Hiram maybe revoking our license which in turn can hurt our business to the point of closure. We need our friends and the community to sign the petition to keep our license. As a restaurant we have to sell 51% food vs alcohol at 49%. Because of the lack of food sells they can permanently revoke our license. We have until Tuesday, December 7th, at 6:00 p.m. to prove to them that the community wants us and needs us.

We have been around for years. We provide/hold live performances, karaoke, poker, pool tournaments, and multiple fundraisers a year to support (veterans, nonprofits, foster care, and so many more). We are not saints, but we try to do as much as we can for the community because that's small business. We don't want to loose Cantrell's Hiram Station. If you have ever been passionate about something please help us now by signing the petition or writing a letter (drop off at Cantrell's Hiram Station or City of Hiram (Attention: City Counsel).

We are asking you, our friends, family, and community to help us. We don't need our staff, vendors, patrons, and those we do fundraisers for to be let down. Please support us now and sign this petition, share this petition, so we can continue with our small business. Hasn't enough business closed this year? We don't want to be next! We have until December 7th at 6:00 p.m. to make our case. We survived Covid, help us survive this!
