I am writing this on behalf of my greatest friend Rebecca Richard's also known as(beckie) currently residing in Hamilton Ontario. Rebecca came to Canada from the UK to build a relationship with her sons father(Candian Citizen)in 2014. In 2016 their son whom also is a Canadian Citzen was born. Unfortunately the relationship did not work between them and they had split up in 2017,  however, they always were able to co parent and maintain a very healthy , stable environment for their shared son whom is now six years of age. In 2018 Rebecca applied for Humanitarian and compassionate grounds for permanent residency. Unfortunately due to the covid pandemic and all the effects such as- lack of community resources, she was unable to obtain all the information and documentation necessary to complete a strong application. February 2021 her application was rejected due to "insignificant evidence" to support her case. After recieving a rejection letter she had then  gathered up-obtained all the correct evidence, supporting documentation and letters from professional and personal advocates to build a strong application and resubmit. In January 2022, she had then again recieved another letter of denial that stated " the supporting documentation was not able to be added to her file at this time".  During this whole process Rebecca has been humble, patient and driven. Over the last few years during her time here in Canada Rebecca has made a huge impact on the community of Hamilton, she has assisted vulnerable individuals in crisis through outreach programs to assist the homeless. She has been an advocate for abused woman in crisis, she has used her dreams and talents and brought them to life by obtaining a position as a dedicated artist in the tattoo&beauty industry.

You can only imagine what this young mother who has built a life for her and her son in Canada must feel when being told by authorities she would be ripped away from him at any given time with the only means of communication being through via zoom !!!!!!!!-anxious, worried , sad and in fear. Rebecca is re applying this week to try her best to prevent the removal order that is being placed on her by the end of this month so in the meantime,  I am asking the community to PLEASE take the time to sign this petition to support Rebecca and her fight to obtain Canadian residency and stay home with her babyboy as the effects of her removal would cause serve mental illness, distress to her loved ones whom shes built amazing relationships with especially her son!!!!!!
