JL’s Tree Service would like to use our aerial lift to take people up to the window of their loved ones hospital rooms, long term care facilities and hospice rooms. Due to the “No Visitor” policy from COVID-19 at hospitals, long term care facilities and Hospices people are unable to see their loved ones who are in critical condition. We would like to provide the opportunity for people to “say goodbye” or see their loved one in these final moments. No one should have to die alone or without saying goodbye and already this is becoming a reality in our community. This service would be completely free. After signing a waiver you would be given a disinfected harness and lanyard attaching you to the bucket of the lift. The lift operator would then operate the lift from the ground allowing you to travel to the window of your loved one. On your own.
