City of Fenton (Michigan 48430): Discrimination/Harassment of Therapy animal Eli our Domestic Pot Belly Pig

Eli is a Therapy Animal for an 11 year old with special needs. Eli is a DOMESTIC indoor animal and part of our family. We have had Eli for almost 2 years. We had prior verbal approval from the City of Fenton. After all this time, The City of Fenton sent us a letter in Violation of a Nuisance...Again, Eli. Eli is a domestic indoor Therapy Animal, goes outside with the family dog and comes right back in. Eli is in our presence each time and is not left alone. Eli does not bark, bite or chase anyone nearing our yard. He is not left out too roam the streets at all hours. If you did not know we had Eli, you would not see him and certainly not hear him...that is how quiet Eli is. Eli is wonderful Therapy and is extremely intelligent. Eli is truly a Blessing for our family. The selfishness, prejudice, discrimination and harassment by others has caused our family much grief. Eli is a domestic Sevice Animal not a wild animal and not a farm animal. PLEASE HELP US tell the City of Fenton Michigan to allow Eli to remain part of our family. Thank you so much for helping us and especially Eli! God Bless, The Zienteks

Eli is a domestic indoor Therapy Animal for a child with special needs; autism. Eli is part of our family. We have had Eli for over almost 2 years and received verbal approval for his adoption. The City of Fenton sent us a letter in Violation of a Nuisance...Again, Eli. Eli is an indoor domestic Therapy Animal, goes outside with the family dog and comes right back in. Eli is in our presence each time and is not left alone. Eli does not bark, bite or chase anyone nearing our yard. he is not left out too roam the streets at all hours. If you did not know we had Eli, you would not see him and certainly not hear him...that is how quiet Eli is. We do not parade Eli downtown in front of the Police station; Eli is either outside with us or inside with us, nowhere else. Eli is wonderful Therapy and is extremely intelligent. Eli is truly a Blessing for our family. Eli is a domestic Therapy Animal not a farm animal. PLEASE allow Eli to remain. This is the right decision for someone who has disabilities. Thank you for your kind consideration in reconsidering the actions. God Bless, The Zientek Family
