We, the undersigned citizens of Elmhurst, IL, believe that city ordinances should remain the same and NOT allow chickens or hens in our urban backyards for the following reasons:

* Bring down real estate value or limit the people that may think about moving to Elmhurst.
*Attracting unwanted rodents and/or animals that may eat the waste provided as feed for chickens, or prey on the chickens themselves.
*Causing an increase to our taxes to provide the city to maintance the ordinances.
*Cause neighbor disputes.
*Bring disease into the community.
