Edinburgh needs low carbon mobility solutions that work for residents, not the 1% who cycle. The council needs to give public transport options more attention, rather than dancing to Sustrans’ tune and fixating on cycle lanes. Congestion charging for non-residents, EV charging infra, options like the South Sub all need to be taken much more seriously. CEC is all about restricting, when it should be about enabling.

Am aware these were much used in the past - very quick and easy way to get in and out of town

Edinburgh already has an existing piece of infrastructure that could be linked to the existing tram network for future proofing and reducing congestion. Why not use it?
