Many cities neighboring Des Moines are able to have city wide clean up / curb days. We should be allowed to have this in Des Moines as well!!!
We are offered sites where we can take loads and things like appliances in the spring. However many residents are unable to gain the use of a truck and some are elderly, disabled or on a fixed income and simply unable to get items to the collection sites. We should be allowed a city wide clean up in Des Moines where we get to put our junk on the curb like our surrounding cities!!!
