For decades, Lolly has worked tirelessly for the people of the 10th Ward community. She has fostered and adopted several children, taught catechism to Special Needs students for more than 40 years, and has run the St. George Food Pantry directly out of her home and garage since the early 80’s.

Lolly has always enjoyed walking and driving through Calumet Park with her children. The intersection of 95th and Ewing Avenue also has a dedicated street along Ewing Avenue for Lolly’s late husband, Robert Rodriguez. We would like to see them reunited once again for an honorary street dedication. Our proposed street would be 95th street from Avenue L heading East into Calumet Park.

While honorary street dedications are generally granted posthumously, we believe that Lolly has given enough time and service to the community that she deserves to see this happen.
