Help me with this petition to make a statement against the department head of Public  Works for the City of Chester, S.C. On August 4, 2017 Audrey "Penny" Woods, the first female (African American) City Operator was terminated after 17 years of service to the City. Penny allegedly was terminated for costing the City of Chester too much money for two (2) accidents in which neither has been proven to be at fault. One was a health issue and the other a mechanical issue. Math states that during her tenure the total accidents she has had in 17 years is 0.1175 less than 1% while Public Works still employs workers with less time and more accidents. Penny also was escorted by another City employee to be drug tested while another was allowed to take himself and then return back to work. If you cannot sign this petition I ask if you would accompany me to protest her termination at the next Council meeting on September 11, 2017 at 6:30 PM.
