I'm tired of City Council thinking they can do anything in our neighbourhood without consultation - they already ruined Centennial Park and this is so much worse!
Cedar Elementary School is so close to this site as well as Phoenix and Carihi right there! Mayor and Council would never try this in Willow Point and we are just supposed to take it! This is a family neighbourhood and they are insulting our intelligence when they say this won't decrease our property values!
Since when was it okay to have this type of treatment centre/housing to be in a family neighbourhood with all levels of school and the outdoor pool/park nearby?
All the other required services are located downtown; this time we can NOT allow this to happen!!

My two children are in risk now. There are lot of other places in Campbell River to do this project. City, think about children, students, and schools

City please don't proceed this project, it is not good decision taken by you, you don't even think about schools and children. What's the use we are paying big tax to you. One of main reason is security and you want to neglect it by doing this project in the community where there are schools and children. I have two children living and studying nearby. I am not sleeping good when I heard this project. Please look another land to do this project, there are a lot

I believe the location is unsuitable given the location's proximity to schools surrounding the area . I also believe the City councillors & Mayor were derelict in their responsibilities to be open & informative to the homeowners/taxpayers by not having an open forum or referendum prior to the decision to allow this project to proceed . To say the least , it does not appear to fit in with any city planning strategy .

Irresponsible placement! Children need a safe environment, and housing troubled people with substance abuse issues (drugs or alcohol) and most likely mentally instabilities near these children, does not create that environment at all. Use your damn head Campbell River council.

I sign because I am a single mother of four beautiful children. Plus my son’s gf and their daughter stay over once in a while. The risk factor for the children in our neighbourhood. I sign for my children and my granddaughter. I love our neighborhood because it’s so quiet, it feels extremely safe. My street everyone is so polite and kind on alpine rd. I’ve been here since February 2020 and I quite enjoy our peace and quiet.

I also believe it is too close to schools. We definitely need to support the homeless. We do need supportive housing. ❤️

There's better options than a family oriented neighbourhood
