This historic Victorian house built c1886, is at potential risk of demolition. It was sold recently and currently has no protection.
We don't have much time to ensure it gets the protection it deserves.
The house is one of the oldest homes in the historic Prospect Hill Heritage Overlay Precinct in Camberwell. Local residents have asked Boroondara Council to re assess the house and to protect it.
- It is listed by the National Trust in their Victorian Heritage database as a locally significant mansion.
- It is a local landmark house, with historic Victorian architecture, a grand turret and many original internal features.
We need your help to try and protect it. You can make a difference.

Ask them to ensure that this heritage home is re graded as a "CONTRIBUTORY" house in the Prospect Hill Heritage Overlay (HO159) AND to ensure they find the means to give it PROTECTION from DEMOLITION
Boroondara Council has been working hard to protect more of our heritage buildings, but too many of our period and heritage homes are disappearing today at an ever increasing rate, right across Melbourne
