One problem exist, there is no zoning code to allow individuals to live in their RV within City limits. In fact Article 6.14 of the Bisbee Zoning code specifically Prohibits the Occupancy of Vehicles and Trailers for Residential Purposes! Why prohibit people from choosing to live minimally in an RV in City limits where sanitation and utility hook ups are available? Removing this prohibition from the Zoning Code will help solve the shortage of housing and affordability problem in Bisbee. It will also help increase the workforce in the area. Many people with various useful skills and knowledge want to live in Bisbee, but can't because there is no place for them to live. Many workers who support the Hospitality and Tourism Industry are leaving because they are getting displaced by increasing housing cost, lack of available housing and low wages. If Bisbee does not increase their housing supply and attainable housing options immediately, the essential workers of the Entertainment District will cease to exist and the town will lose its biggest Economic Industry. Don't let Bisbee die help it progress by allowing the alternative popular cost effective RV living option!
