Petition Closed

The Baltimore Book Festival is a wonderful event that has been held for the last 17 years in the center of one of the most beautiful and historic urban squares in America. The problem is that this event has outgrown it's fragile and sensitive historic setting.

From a total elimination of large swaths of parking for neighborhood residents and businesses, to the wear and tear on our vulnerable grounds and historic monuments, to the traffic disruptions that cause headaches for everyone, it’s time to relocate the Book Festival to a location less fragile, less residential and more functional.

Please sign our petition, so that we may begin a dialogue with the City of Baltimore to ensure a healthy, vibrant Book Festival in a new, more sustainable location.
