You want to watch fireworks? Go to YouTube. We're in the era of bushfire hell, January of all months should be a total fire ban, no exceptions. Our country is tinder dry and in a permanent state of drought & fire alert. I can't believe Australians would even consider firework displays after the fire displays of recent days, months & years. The effect of the noise alone on animals, wildlife & vulnerable humans should be enough to ban it. Grow up Australia.

Our fellow Australians are in great need right now and we can all help by getting together with Ballarat council donating Australia day fireworks money to a better cause. We won't miss the display this Year and everyone that is in need will benefit 
