We are longtime residents who have lived in our neighborhood for decades here in East Austin. In a time during a pandemic world crises we are forced with stay home orders with limited access to what is happening in our City. The City of Austin Transportation Department along with City of Austin Parks Department passed a RESOLUTION NO. 20200507-062 on May 7th, 2020 to create a experiment  program called "Healthy Streets" in neighborhoods putting barricades on streets that are being selected online. Our neighborhoods say NO to Healthy Streets on Comal, Canterbury St. or any other streets in the East Side. We were taught NOT to walk, bike, or skate board on the street it is NOT safe. We are tax payers we have paid for bike lanes and side walks for our pedestrians we did not pay for Street Closure. Please sign this petition your voice matters! Thank you..
