When COVID started Chuys restaurants changed their menu to allow for a smaller selection. Although this was understandable while the restaurant was takeout only, Chuys is now allowing full capacity dining again. Why then hasn’t Chuys brought back its full menu? We miss favorites like the green chile rice. We miss the chile rellenos. We miss the combination plates and the daily specials like the hatch green chile enchiladas. But for the love of God and for the sake of pure indulgent joy of Chuys diners everywhere please bring back the Elvis green chile fried chicken! There is nothing else like it on the planet and my heart sinks at the thought of never experiencing this kind of joy in my life ever again.
