The West Community Center is a historical Monument for the City of Asbury Park. It has served the community for generations. Providing a safe place for festive activities like drill competition, sports event and dance parties. It has been in the community for 60years plus. It has greatly impacted the community in a positive manner. This reputable facility has been a safe haven for children of all ages to come learn, play, and grow in a safe environment. 
We need funding from the city to remodel the facility for the children to have a positive Avenue to turn too. Re opening the center will provide a strong platform in the community for our children to grow into the future. Once up and running we plan on starting a trade program. This program will help children of all ages learn hands on about everyday life skills. Learning these skills will help better prepare our children when they are ready to go off into the world. Signing this petition means you support building a strong foundation for our childrens future. It’s time for our unity to lead these young’s adolescents into the positive direction.
