After years of management issues with the City of Armadale (CoA), the Roleystone Volunteer Fire Brigade (RVFB) have requested full management of the RVFB be handed to the Department of Fire & Emergency Services (DFES).

This change to DFES allows 1 Manager / 1 set of rules and 1 positive direction for the RVFB to move forward in providing 1 best outcome of fire safety handling for the overall community.

It has been now more than 150 days since the RVFB official request to CoA to hand over management, and still the CoA delay formal response citing further investigation and more questions, hoping the matter will go away and be forgotten - but it wont.

Please offer your support to the RVFB in their aim towards being handed over to DFES management completely. Otherwise the CoA will look to split the brigade and create an unmanageable outcome which ultimately will only see the community loose a key and very important asset and put at risk the greater community this coming and highly rated fire season.
