I live in Moreno Valley California on a regular basis our cluster mailboxes throughout the city are vandalized and broken into leaving them inaccessible to the mailman and delaying our mail being delivered, inconveniencing us to have to go down to the post office to pick up our mail thus getting all of our mail a day late. I think if they were to upgrade the mailboxes to be more secure we wouldn’t have this problem as much or maybe at all and it would end up saving money in the long run, because they wouldn’t have to keep fixing the boxes that are broken over and over. It would also alleviate the stress that everyone has to worry about having their mail tampered with and stolen. This is not just a small problem. It is a problem that spans throughout the whole city of Moreno Valley and targets innocent citizens and veterans. It also inconveniences the mail carriers because they have to check you know on a daily basis to see whether the boxes have been fixed or not and they get bothered by all the people in the neighborhoods for their mail and have to deal with upset people in the community because they are not allowed to give us our mail. It Has to be picked up from the post office. Please if you feel this is necessary or if you agree with this petition help us get this done. this is a problem that Has to stop.
