Hello my name is Patty Odell and I reside on Longstreet road with my husband and two small children, We have lived here for over 20 years and have seen some amazing development, however with the development has come a lot of traffic which is to be expected, there is a speed limit on Longstreet of 40 mph which is not really honored by most of the drivers, we’ve clocked traffic going well over 80mph, we have pulled out of our driveway and been ran off the road by the dump trucks coming from the new power plant that is being built, these guys that work for the power plant get paid by the load, so they are driving as fast as they can to make their money, we are here to start a change, we would like to see caution signs put up on Longstreet letting people know that there are small children and also bus stops, by signing this petition you will be saving lives of not only the children but our beloved pets as well. Please join us in making Longstreet road a safer place for our families.
